Wendi Tang is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker with a passion for telling character-driven stories that delve into diverse female perspectives. A graduate of NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and Stern School of Business dual-degree program, Wendi’s work has been showcased at internationally renowned festivals such as SITGES, SXSW Sydney, Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, the Norwegian Short Film Festival, deadCenter Film Festival, and HollyShorts.
In 2022, she was recognized as a recipient of the NYC Women’s Fund, a finalist for the Sundance Uprise Grant, and became a BAFTA member. Her short film Fishtank earned top honors as the Tribeca Chanel THL Women Filmmaker's Program Winner and the Film Pipeline Short Script Competition Winner in 2022. Currently, Wendi is developing her first feature film.
